Fedai Unmanned Armed Operations Robot

One of the four domestic vehicles that won the UGV project launched by the Defense Industries Presidency, FEDAİ carries KORALP RCWS equipped with a 7.62 mm machine gun in its current configuration.

The Ideal UGV Carrying the Ideal Weapon

Our experience with remote-controlled vehicles and our country's needs in this area led us to conduct research in the field of unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs). The first result of our work in this area was the FEDAİ unmanned armed operations robot.

One of the four domestic vehicles that won the UGV project launched by the Defense Industries Presidency, FEDAİ carries the KORALP RCWS equipped with a 7.62 mm machine gun in its current configuration. Weighing 90 kg, with low recoil and precise stabilization capabilities, the 7.62 mm KORALP makes it ideal for an IKA in this class. In addition, the vehicle's flexible architecture allows for the easy integration of different payloads.

From Armed Reconnaissance to Rescue the Wounded

FEDAİ, which successfully passed tests conducted under combat conditions by end users within the country, was developed as a vehicle that can scout ahead of personnel during operations, particularly in populated areas, and neutralize any threats encountered when necessary. With its tracked design, FEDAİ can easily overcome trenches up to 500 mm wide and obstacles it encounters, and is also a platform that can perform effectively in the field. FEDAİ also has the capability to rescue injured personnel or light vehicles in hard-to-reach areas by towing them with its 400 kg towing capacity.

One of FEDAİ's most important features is that both the vehicle itself and the KORALP system it carries were designed and manufactured under the same roof by Best Grup. This allows for very quick configuration changes to meet user requests. This feature, which is not found in any other UGV in this class in Turkey, makes FEDAİ unique.
